Police respond to shots fired on East Brooks

By Anonymous Galesburg police responded to East Brooks Street near Churchill Avenue around 10:40 pm Wednesday after residents reported hearing gunshots. Officers located at least five shell casings, according to the police scanner.


Two arrested after manhunt

Radio scanner traffic this afternoon indicated a rollover crash and two males fleeing the vehicle on the 5000 block of Mahar Road. The caller reported shell casings on the ground after the crash and seeing one of the suspects with a gun.
