Scanner traffic indicates house exploded

Police radio scanner traffic indicated police, firefighters and ambuulance personnel were on the scene of the house explosion and that a small fire was burning in the area. The Capital-Journal was sending a reporter to the scene.



Fairbury man arrested after 911 call

Pontiac Police discovered a cell phone used to place the 911 call, a portable scanner and a number of other cell phones in Moser's possession, at an apartment on Illini Drive. Pontiac Police Major Jim Woolford says a two-way radio was also discovered.
