Overheard on Police Scanner

Arrest warrant issued for suspect in robbery of Mile High Bank in Longmont

After lingering in the lobby for a while, the robber -- described as a white man in his 50s with short black hair -- handed a teller a note that said, "Give me all the money or I'll kill you," according to police scanner traffic.



Fire strikes Mitchell home, victims transported

According to police scanner traffic, the house was engulfed in smoke. At 10:40 pm, ambulances and additional fire equipment were requested at the scene, as there was reportedly a possibility children were still in the house.

3 reported shot in Johnson City

Johnson City police responded to a reported shooting incident at 184 Grand Ave., Johnson City, shortly after midnight. According to scanner reports, three individuals suffered gunshot wounds. All were being transported to local hospitals.
